The commercials go like this...
-person falls
-they can't get up
-they remember to press the Life Alert button
- heartfelt testimonial from family member
-happy scene
- call this number!
I don't mean to be rude, but those commercials are full of hooey.........
I have it on good authority that when people (of any age) take a tumble they don't calmly/slightly overdramatically exclaim,
"Help, I've fallen and I can't get up!"
It's more of an "AHHHHHHHHHH" (shock mixed with pain)
or an "UGHHHHHHH" (horror mixed with pain)
maybe even possibly a
"HAHAHAHAHA" (if I laugh, others will too)
and lastly, my personal favorite, the
"!*!&$**!&$^*&@$%&*@!&*^&*!^&*$^*&" (full use of personal expletive library)
And so, today, I promise to admit my problems as they come, vowing never to downplay them, assuring you that I will be honest, trustworthy and candid when explaining/blogging to you the crazy that is my life.
